Your first hour

You begin with a nine-by-nine patch of Meadow Block, a free Cobblestone Generator, one Chicken, and free starter tools. Everything else is earned.

FirstSwitch on the generator Your Cobblestone Generator forms a Sky Cache every 15 minutes and banks four while you're offline. It runs whether or not you're logged in, so start it before anything else.
ThenPlace your starter blocks You get 48 Meadow, 36 Rough Cobble, 28 Sunny Oak Planks and 18 Hearth Brick. Placing blocks earns Builder XP, and XP is what expands your island's build boundary.
NextTake the pickaxe to the Mine The shared Mine is the only source of the seven ore blocks — they never drop from caches. Your free Driftwood Pickaxe lasts 80 swings and renews on a 10-minute cooldown.
DailySpin the Launch Wheel One free spin every hour, and it only drops launch-exclusive items you cannot obtain any other way. Costs nothing. Don't skip it while the event is running.

Where everything comes from

Every collectible in this manual arrives through one of these nine routes. The source column in each catalog tells you which one — and that's the whole game of "how do I get this".

Fishing waters, fish & meal buffs

Fish are saved in the Fish tab of your bag and stack by species. Eat one to activate its timed bonus. Only one fish meal can be active at once; eating another replaces it. Seasons, weather and time are read from the server, not your device.

How the catch roll works

Every successful cast has a 70% fish roll and a 30% pond collectible roll. The game removes species that do not match your selected water, current world season, UTC time, or rain. It then normalizes the remaining species weights to 100%. Better rods and fish-luck meals push weight toward higher rarities but never guarantee one.

How the catch minigame worksClick the water to cast and wait for a bite. When the catch meter opens, hold the on-screen control (or F on desktop) to raise the green bar and release to let it fall. Keep the moving fish inside that bar until the Catch meter fills. Some casts reveal a treasure chest: hold the green bar over it long enough to secure an additional rarity bonus without letting the fish escape.

Fish catalog and relative odds

The weight below is relative inside the currently eligible fish pool. Example: if eligible fish have weights 36 and 34, their fish-roll chances are 36/70 and 34/70. Multiply that result by the overall 70% fish chance for the per-successful-cast chance.

The core mechanic

How a Sky Cache actually resolves

This is the single most useful thing to understand, because it explains why companions feel impossible and why you drown in decorations. One cache is one rarity roll followed by a branch — it does not roll each category separately.

1
Roll the rarityOne weighted roll across all seven rarities. Your generator tier, active WILD stakes, founding-pack luck and island cache-luck blocks all bend this roll — and the pity counters can force a minimum.
2
If Mythic or Ultimate: 1-in-4 chance of a companionThis is the rarest outcome in the game and the only way to get animals beyond your starter Chicken. A Mythic roll can yield any of the ten farmyard species; an Ultimate roll yields the Bunny.
3
Otherwise, 7% chance of a functional itemItems are deliberately scarcer than decor and blocks. The item is picked from the pool matching the rarity you already rolled.
4
Otherwise, 24% chance of a decorationSkipped entirely on an Ultimate roll — there are no Ultimate decorations. Low rarities arrive in stacks: a Common decoration comes as 3 or 5 at once.
5
Otherwise, a building blockThe default outcome, roughly two caches in three. Quantity scales inversely with rarity — a Common block arrives as 3, 5 or 8; a Mythic or Ultimate block always arrives alone.
Two bonus rolls ride along with every single cache

Independently of everything above, each cache also rolls a 15% chance of farm supplies — about four times in five that's 2–4 seed packets for a crop that's in season, otherwise one soil. This is how you get seeds and soil. There is no other source.

And during autumn, each cache rolls a 10% chance of one Harvest Heart block, the eight autumn-exclusive building blocks. When the season turns, that pool closes.

Base cache odds

These are the starter generator's weights, totalling exactly 100%. Higher tiers and active stakes adjust them at roll time — upward for premium rarities and downward for Common, never by removing Common from the pool.

RarityBase chanceRoughly
Two guarantees protect you from bad luck

50 caches without a Rare forces the next cache to roll Rare or better. 100 without an Epic forces Epic or better. Both counters reset only when they fire — a natural lucky pull does not wipe your progress toward them. There is no Legendary guarantee.

Any Legendary, Mythic or Ultimate pull is announced in global chat

The whole server sees it, by name. Caches themselves no longer award Block Credits — the reward is the item.

Blocks

Browse blocks by rarity. Eleven special blocks activate real in-game perks while placed on your island; ordinary building blocks are construction material. Perk cards are highlighted and show every threshold. Island value follows that specific block's live marketplace floor, with its rarity minimum used only when no listing exists.

The Launch Wheel

The launch celebration is running now. Its ten festival items exist nowhere else in the game — not in caches, not in packs, not on the marketplace pool. You get one free spin per hour, and can buy extra spins at 10,000 WILD each for substantially better odds.

PrizeRarityFree spinPaid spin
No prizes match
Paid spins are 12.5× better at the top end

A free spin hits the Confetti Cannon at 0.02%; a paid spin hits it at 0.25%. Every tier above Uncommon improves, and the two Uncommon fillers drop from 73% of free spins to 50% of paid ones. If you want the Mythic pair, the free hourly spin is a lottery ticket and the paid spin is the actual route.

Decorations

Flowers grow on top of a permanent block. Fences auto-connect to same-family fences on all four cardinal sides. The rest is furniture, lighting and architecture. Your island holds up to 1,024 decorations.

Every animal produces one specific block forever. Apart from your starter Chicken and the pack and event exclusives, animals come only from Mythic and Ultimate cache rolls — a 1-in-4 branch on the rarest rolls in the game.

How pen output scales

Pen size
One animal is baseline. 3 gives ×1.18, 6 gives ×1.35, 11 gives ×1.6. Those are the only four steps — a 10th animal does nothing the 6th didn't.
Happiness
Care for a pen every 4 hours to raise it. 25+ gives ×1.05, 50+ ×1.10, 75+ ×1.15, 100 ×1.20. It decays 5 points for each day since you last cared, so a neglected pen slowly loses its bonus.
Favourite crops
Feeding a species its favourite crop is how you build happiness — this is the link that makes cultivation worth doing.
Storage
A pen holds 24 outputs, plus 6 more per extra animal up to 15 animals. Collect before it fills or production stalls.
Island perks
Prism Mosaic and Bio-Resin Block placed on your island multiply animal speed on top of all of the above.

Tools

Energy and durability are two different limits

Mining and farming each hold 120 energy, fishing holds 40. Energy refills on its own over an hour, or instantly for 10,000 WILD. Durability is separate and burns one use per swing — when a tool wears out you equip a replacement, and the free starter tier is always there to fall back on.

Crops & soil

Seeds and soil come from the 15% farm-supply bonus attached to every Sky Cache — that's their only source. Plant into one of three soils, water, and wait out a real growth timer. A crop planted out of season will not grow.

Soils: Furrowed Loam, Mossroot Compost, Tidal Mud. You can keep up to 225 beds. The season also shifts growth globally — spring runs 1.12×, autumn 1.05×, summer 1.00×, winter 0.82×.

How perks actually work

This is the part most new players never figure out. Certain blocks change your island's rules while they are placed. They are not consumed and they are not equipped — the game counts how many of that block are sitting on your island and applies a tier.

The four thresholds are always 1, 3, 6 and 11

Placing a 12th of the same type adds nothing. Reclaim one and the tier drops immediately. Every perk block stacks with every other perk block, and the UFO blocks stack multiplicatively with the Mothership Heart on top.

The practical reading

Polished Slate is the strongest early perk in the game — eleven of them gives every mining swing a coin-flip chance to double its ore, and it is merely Uncommon, dropped by caches and produced free by a Horse pen. Build that first.

The Mothership Heart is the rarest and touches all five UFO systems at once, but its individual numbers are small. It multiplies an already-built island; it is not a shortcut past one.

Levels and your island boundary

XP comes from nearly everything: placing blocks (capped at 250/hour), social activity (capped at 50/hour), mining, farming and fishing, plus 20 per cache opened, 90 per animal owned, and a one-time discovery bonus for each new thing you find — 35 per block, 25 per decoration, 45 per companion, 55 per item. Every level grants a Sky Cache.

Levels 1–4 · 100 × 100Starting build area
Level 5 · 400 × 400First expansion — four times the edge length
Level 10 · 700 × 700Second expansion
Level 20 · 1,000 × 1,000Third expansion
Level 35 · 1,500 × 1,500Maximum standard boundary

Vertical build range is −1,000 to 999 at every level. Levels 5, 10, 20 and 35 are the only ones that expand the boundary.
